With an incredible story of 50+ years and inspite of bringing lot of innovation and development in beverages industry, our passion for tea craftsmanship kept the taste consistent since 1964. “Quality, honesty & understanding customer’s needs” we always remember and follow this mantra of Late Mr. Surajmal Jain and as a tea brand we keep it as our brand personality for all our products and in our core values.

From Small to Large: A Journey Unfolded

Canteen at Apsara Talkies

In the year 1962, Late Mr. Surajmal Jain had started a tea canteen in Mumbai right infront of Apsara Talkies.

Named after a movie theatre

People felt the connection with his tea, loved his unique recipe and indulging taste. Thereafter, he decided to start a tea brand with the same name which gave him the recognition "Apsara Tea" in 1964.

Expansion in Indore by 1990

After several years of R&D Apsara Tea expanded and launched new products.

Increased distribution network

Further Apsara Tea increased it's distribution network in Indore & nearby areas with new variants in tea.

Powered up for new decade

After getting double demand of Apsara products, scaled the reach in Madhya Pradesh by the year 2010.

Time for experiments

Between 2012 to 2016 Apsara launched different tea categories such as Green Tea and Instant Tea. Also introduced Tea bags in the market.

Scaled in other regions

Further Apsara Tea has been launched to Mumbai in the year 2017 and Bangaluru in 2018.

Rebranded in 2019

Apsara Tea revamped the whole Brand Identity and Packaging with new Brand Strategy.
